Liriope, Big Blue
Lirope muscari 'Big Blue'
Big Blue Liriope is a perennial with long, grass-like, deep green foliage and lavender flowers born on stalks that rise above the foliage. The flowers eventually produce a green berry that turns black as it ripens. Big Blue Liriope is a great plant to plant in masses to fill an area, for use as a border around a plant bed or walkway, or to use as a lower growing plant to add depth to a foundation planting.
