Ilex crenata (Holly, Helleri)
Holly, Helleri

Ilex crenata 'Helleri'

Helleri Holly is a dwarf, mounded, compact, evergreen shrub with flat, short leves that are not as lustrous as many of the crenata cultivars. Helleri has historically been one of the most planted crenata hollies but has lost some popularity due to the availability of better forms. This is a good foundation plant for homes that have low windows and a good plant for mass planting.
