Magnolia grandiflora 'Little Gem'

Little Gem Magnolia is the smallest growing of the commercially available southern magnolias. Little Gem Magnolia grows more like a large shrub than with a central leader. Little Gem has smaller leaves that are lustrous dark green with bronze backs and it flowers at a very early age. Little Gem Magnolia is a great selection for those that enjoy the look of southern magnolias but do not have the space to grow them. It can be used as a single specimen or as a screen.
