Lagerstroemia indica (Crepe Myrtle, Osage)
Osage Crape Myrtle 6' B&B

Lagerstroemia indica 'Osage'

Osage Crepe Myrtle is a large growing shrub that can be pruned to create the look of a small growing tree. Osage Crape Myrtle is usually multi-stemmed with arching branches and clear light pink, panicle flowers through the summer. The foliage turns red in the fall and the bark exfoliates on the trunk and older branches to reveal a chestnut brown colored bark. Osage Crepe Myrtle is a good choice where a small specimen is needed.
